Nebraska, BOW Schedule Guided Turkey Hunt for Women
From Nebraska Game and Parks Commission -- A guided spring turkey hunt for women is scheduled for May 3-4 at Burchard, Neb. The hunt is sponsored by Becoming an Outdoors-Woman (Beyond BOW), a program of the Nebraska Game and Parks Commission. The hunt is for women 18 years of age or older. Hunters will camp at Burchard the night of May 2, then hunt the following two days. First-time hunters will be given priority and space is limited. Previous gun handling and shotgun shooting or archery experience is required. Participants must be proficient at target practice before the hunt and may bring their own shotgun and archery equipment.
