Fishing, Big Horn Sheep, Scouting, Opening Day Dove and More
Ok, there are so many things to talk about since my last post 30 days ago... subjects such as a 27 inch brown caught near Truckee, a Big Horn Sheep that was simply strolling not but a few yards from the pavement off of Highway 50, Smith Creek and Smith Creek Reservoir, Wall Canyon, Deer Scouting and preparing for opening day of Dove Season. I'll begin with an update from Wall Canyon Reservoir that came in from Jeff, who just recently took the wife for some Nevada style adventure. State Offers Clinic on Moose Antlers
Alaska Department of Fish and Game staff and Wildlife Troopers are offering their second annual Moose Antler Clinic to provide moose hunters more practice on judging legal moose, the Anchorage Daily News reports. The clinic will be 10 AM - 6 PM August 18 and 19 at the Department of Transportation lot on Springer Loop Road near the Palmer Fairgrounds. North Dakato Questions Ethical Hunting - Proposed Ban

Moffat, Routt Elk Management Meeting Set
The Colorado Division of Wildlife (DOW) is interested in hearing from the public about management of two important elk herds in northwest Colorado. Public input is critical in helping revise these management plans, called Data Analysis Unit or DAU plans. DAU plans establish population objectives and set goals for male-female ratios within populations.

Fire planned for Oak Ridge during fall

Free Hunting Licenses to Returning Soldiers
