While hunting with his father, 17-year-old Casey Phillips, of Bay Lake, harvested the second-highest-scoring deer on record ever taken from Florida?s nearly 6 million acres of public hunting lands. Tim Farley, a senior wildlife technician for the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) took the official measurements and gave the deer?s antlers a gross Boone and Crockett score of 163 6/8 and a net score of 156 5/8. | Girls Ice Fishing in Bikinis! |
Some bikini designer thought he would draw attention to his clothes by holding a bikini contest on a frozen lake and by making the girls try to catch fish. So, in order to make sure the videos I publish on this site are fam,ily friendly and offer good fishing techniques for my readers, I took it upon myself to evaluate the quality of the said video. I think this sums it all up: " What if I caught something " says one of the models... Thanks to Fishing Jones for the story.

| Fly Fishing Landlocked Salmon - Ouananiche |
Last spring, I think it was may 1st, I went out with the boys for a day of flyfishing up near Mont Tremblant. We hired fishing guide François St-Louis who works for Sebastien Lord's guiding service. Francois is one of the country's foremost experts in the art of catching landlocked salmon. We drove up to our lake really early in the morning, in fact the sun was down when we got on the boat and pulled away from the dock. This is a full service guide so he supplied the boat, the rods and the flies. It was a very cold morning, and we were all very happy when the sun finally came up to grace us with a little heat. We setup 4 rods, 2 13 foot fly rods on either side of the boat, and 2 9 foot ro...

| What a Beauty This One Is |
One of the Pyramid Lake Rangers gave Debbie a tip to go to Anderson Bay and Pyramid Lake two weeks ago. She told everyone she knows last week that she was going to catch the biggest fish at Anderson Bay. So she and her dog set out to Anderson Bay on Sunday early morning at 5:00 am. Arriving there at 7:30 am and fishing until 12:55 when she told Dakota, " If we do not get a bite by 1:00, we are out of here ." She brought in her line with a trout spin lure and casted it out again. A large cutthroat trout followed her lure up to 12 feet into shore. She played with it a while and finally a tug. She pulled with all her might and she hooked it. The line began to go out and she did not have the ...
