VMRC fishing report
http://www.mrc.virginia.gov/swr/saltwaterreview.shtm The Fishing Reports Chincoteague - Donna at Captain Bobs reports fishing has been great for the past few days. The weather has been just about perfect with minimal winds, low temperatures, and the tides falling at the right time of day. While the throwback ratio is rising, keeper flounder are still being landed by boaters in front in Tom?s Cove, and off of the piers. Queen?s Sound and Cockle Creek have also been productive, with anglers catching there limits of keepers in relatively short time spans. Kingfish are keeping anglers busy at Markers 15 and 16, with croaker mixed in. Staff is still waiting for the big numbers of croaker to ar...

Illinois: Attend the Second Amendment Freedom Rally in Downtown Chicago on Friday, July 11!
In response to the U.S. Supreme Court's historic Heller ruling that upheld the Second Amendment as an individual right and struck down the D.C. gun ban, Governor Rod Blagojevich was quoted as saying; "I want express my extreme disappointment with the decision issued today by the Supreme Court," and, "I am an advocate for common sense gun laws."

OHIO RIVER fishing report
New Richmond to Meldahl (Clermont County) ? Water levels are up, around 28 feet, strong current but water clarity is decent. The water temperature is about 75 degrees. Catfishing is best at night. Try cut bait, chicken livers, dead shiners and shrimp. Sauger are being caught in the late afternoon and evening. Anglers are reporting success on crank baits, Rapala Shadrap or Xrap. Riverbend to Downtown Cincinnati (Hamilton County) ? Water is high and running fast. Conditions are making fishing slow. Anglers are catching a few Channel catfish on cut shad and chicken livers.
