Waterspout
Layla and I ventured out of San Luis Pass twice and did not connect with any Tarpon but did see a very unusual occurrence.  I was casting a top water plug and ?walkin? it back when fifty feet off of the bow (front) of the boat, I noticed a round spot in the water, probably twenty feet across, with what looked like raindrops falling on it, except the rain drops were three to four inches tall.   Telling Layla about my strange sighting, I was looking all around for the source of this phenomenon and saw nothing until I looked directly above us.  Up there was a gray, dangerous looking cloud, and twisting down out of the cloud was a waterspout!   Quickly I started the boat and moved about one h...
