By Billy Kizziah -- The rut on was on in the Corners. I hunt near where the boundary lines for three counties meet; Pickens, Tuscaloosa and Fayette counties located in west Alabama. My property is located just inside Fayette County in a community called Ashcraft Corners. I have hunted the property for years and harvested several deer. I took an 8-point buck several years ago that I thought was the pinnacle of my hunting experiences. However, all that was going to change on the afternoon of Jan. 5, 2007.
