As fall approaches, hunters become more curious about how the species they pursue fared in the past year. While there are still surveys to run and data to collect for some critters, here’s an early look at what we know about a few popular species. The Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency reports that the 2008 Hunting & Trapping Guide is now available from licensing agents across the state. The guide includes information on the hunting seasons, bag limits and rules and regulations for the fall and winter hunting, along with the rules for the spring 2009 turkey season.
