Vermont Partners with NRA, Local Groups to Offer Workshop for Firearm Range Operators
From Vermont Fish and Wildlife Department -- The Vermont Fish and Wildlife Department is hosting a special workshop on operating and managing shooting ranges on Saturday, Sept. 6, at the Lamoille Valley County Fish and Game Club in Morrisville. Nebraska Accepting Deer Hunting Applications for Gifford Point WMA
From Nebraska Game and Parks Commission -- Deer hunters interested in hunting at Gifford Point Wildlife Management Area (WMA) this year may apply for access permits through August 15, according to Pat Molini, southeast district manager of the Nebraska Game and Parks Commission's Wildlife Division. Molini said 200 authorization permits will be issued to allow deer hunters access to the area. To be eligible to apply for these permits, hunters must have a valid statewide archery, statewide muzzleloader or Season Choice Area 21 deer permit.
