It is time to get our hands dirty. This past week, it seemed as if nearly everyone I spoke with was breaking ground in anticipation of a prosperous vegetable garden, wildlife food plot or both. An increasing number of folks are rediscovering the virtues of growing their own food - if not solely for economic reasons, then also for the simple pleasures of the process.
