| Thompson/Center Arms lays off 36 |

Saying the company needs to temporarily "work down" inventory levels, Rochester, NY-based Thompson/Center Arms announced the layoff of 36 employees last week. The reduction signified less than 10 percent of the workforce of 400. Foster's Daily Democrat reports.
